From the beginning I had many doubts about it all, and frustrations that it was taking so long. And I need to prepare you in advance - it does take a few years to go through the process, maybe 3,4,5 years? It depends. So you need to be prepared for that. Also since I got a concussion it was difficult for me to focus my mind to get all the documents prepared. My advice if that's you, ask someone to help you to gather the paperwork for you. Mind you I had multiple businesses at this point so I needed to provide ALL the paperwork about each business and activity. If you are employed at a single job, maybe the paperwork will be 10 times easier.

In any case, if you got injured and it is preventing you to work or perform your regular activities - you should fight for it. We pay insurances way too much for cases like this when people do get in trouble.
