Accident Benefit Licensed Paralegal –1 year+ Experience

Looking for a Licensed Paralegal to join our Toronto office. The ideal candidate should
have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities
when dealing with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily communication with clients, counsel, insurance adjusters,
  healthcare providers, and staff.
• Review clients’ medical documentation and other files in detail.
• Handle OCF forms and ensure compliance with the Statutory Accident Benefits
  Schedule (SABS).
• Draft letters to various parties, including insurance companies, doctors, OHIP,
  police, clinics, and defence counsel.
• Maintain office files and ensure clients receive the appropriate benefits under
  SABS, including drafting LAT applications.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Experience & Knowledge: At least 1 year of accident benefits experience, with a solid understanding of SABS and the LAT process.
• Work Style: Able to manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment with
  minimal supervision.
• Skills: Strong critical thinking, writing, verbal and written communication, and
  technical proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook).

Salary: Range is from $45,000 – $65,000 per year,
